Tan Tianwei

Bioengineering expert, Academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, Professor and the president of Beijing University of Chemical Technology, and the Chairman of the China Renewable Energy Society. As a leading initiator of China's biomanufacturing industry, he was the first to propose the concept of third-generation biomanufacturing internationally, utilizing biomanufacturing methods to develop bioenergy, bio-based materials, and bio-nutritional health products. His achievements have contributed to enhancing production efficiency and reducing carbon emissions, effectively supporting the high-quality development of China's biomanufacturing industry.

Chen Jian

Academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, Professor and Doctoral Supervisor at Jiangnan University, Director of the University’s Academic Committee. He has long been engaged in research and teaching in fermentation engineering and food biotechnology. He has won two Second Prizes of the National Technology Invention Award, two Second Prizes of the National Scientific and Technological Progress Award, the He Liang He Li Foundation Science and Technology Innovation Award, and the Chinese Patent Gold Award. Xu Tao

Academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Academician of the Academy of Sciences for the Developing World, Vice Chairman of the Central Committee of the China National Democratic Construction Association, Vice Director of Guangzhou Laboratory.

He is mainly engaged in research on super-resolution imaging technology and ultra-sensitive detection. He has made outstanding achievements in the molecular mechanisms of vesicle secretion regulation, ultra-high resolution microscopy, and transmission electron microscopy. In the field of super-resolution imaging technology, he proposed a novel single-molecule interference localization technique and developed a new type of single-molecule interference localization microscope, which can resolve nanoscale subcellular structures. His achievements were selected as one of the Top Ten Advances in Life Sciences in China for 2021. In the field of transmission electron microscopy, he has broken through "bottleneck" technologies and led the development of the first domestically produced field emission transmission electron microscope with independent intellectual property rights.

Xu Fujie

Dr. Xu Fujie, an epidemiologist specializing in infectious diseases, leads the health portfolio at the Beijing Representative Office of the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. Her Health Innovation and Partnerships team drives foundational biomedical research and product innovation, including regulatory science advancements, and supports the disease burden and implementation science data necessary for product adoption and scale-up. The team's work focuses on controlling infectious diseases such as HIV, tuberculosis, malaria, and vaccine-preventable diseases, as well as promoting maternal and child health in low- and middle-income countries.

Chen Xi

Mr. Chen Xi currently serves as the Vice President of AstraZeneca China and Head of the Respiratory and Autoimmunity Biopharmaceuticals, Vaccines, and Immune Therapies Division.

With over 15 years of experience in the medical device and consulting industries, Mr. Chen has gained extensive industry knowledge and sharp insights. He has held various key positions in multinational companies such as Johnson & Johnson, Becton Dickinson, and McKinsey. Before joining AstraZeneca, Mr. Chen served as the General Manager for the China Cardiovascular Specialty Business Group at Johnson & Johnson Medical Devices, leading the robust growth of the health industry and the rapid expansion of professional organizations in the sector. Prior to that, he was the Vice President of the Greater China Region for the Specimen Analysis Pre-Diagnostics Division at Becton Dickinson and worked as a Project Manager in the Healthcare Sector at McKinsey Consulting.

In August 2023, Mr. Chen joined AstraZeneca as Vice President of AstraZeneca China, leading the Respiratory Inhalation, Digestive, Vaccines and Immuno-Therapies, and Autoimmunity divisions, working with his team to bring innovative drugs and treatment solutions to patients in these therapeutic areas.

Mr. Chen holds a degree in Life Sciences from Peking University and a Ph.D. in Immunology from Harvard University.

Academician Sergey Ablameyko served as the Director of the Joint Research Institute for Informatics of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus (2002-2008), and the President (Dean) of Belarusian State University (2008-2017). He is currently a Professor at Belarusian State University.

Academician Sergey Ablameyko has published over 650 papers, including 25 authored/co-authored books (one published by Springer, UK, one by SPIE, USA, and one by Exit, Poland) and 25 edited volumes (two published by IOS Press in the NATO Science Series). Throughout his academic career, he has been a visiting scholar in Italy, Japan, Sweden, Finland, the UK, Germany, Greece, Spain, Australia, New Zealand, and China. He has chaired/co-chaired and been a member of the program committees of over 100 international conferences held worldwide. He is a member of the editorial boards of journals such as Pattern Recognition and Image Analysis, Non-linear Phenomena in Complex Systems, and many other international journals.
