Lynda Chin

MD, Member of the US National Academy of Medicine, CEO and Founder of Apricity Health, Professor in the Department of Oncology at Dell Medical School

Dr. Chin is a member of the US National Academy of Medicine, a renowned cancer genomicist, and an industry leader in applying technology, AI/ML, and big data to healthcare. She previously conducted research in cancer genomics and cancer biology at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and Harvard Medical School. As the founding chair of the Department of Genomic Medicine at MD Anderson Cancer Center, she pioneered cross-disciplinary platforms integrating technology, data, and analytics into medicine—including the APOLLO platform, which systematizes patient-facing research workflows; the Translational Research Accelerator (TRA), which consolidates longitudinal clinical and research data for precision medicine; and the Oncology Expert Advisor, which employs AI/ML to deliver evidence-based care. She also served as Chief Innovation Officer at the University of Texas, launching the DOC Project to develop strategies for integrating data and digital technologies into healthcare.
