Gui Jianfang

A renowned fish geneticist and breeder, Gui Jianfang serves as Research Professor and Doctoral Supervisor at the Institute of Hydrobiology, Chinese Academy of Sciences. Elected as Academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2013 and Fellow of The World Academy of Sciences in 2015, he was selected into China's National Hundred-Thousand-Ten Thousand Talent Program. From 2001 to 2007, he held the position of Director at the Institute of Hydrobiology, Chinese Academy of Sciences. In 2015, he was honored with the Ho Leung Ho Lee Prize for Scientific and Technological Progress. Academician Gui has dedicated his career to fundamental research on fish genetic breeding biology and related biotechnologies.
