Three major scenic spots of Guangzhou Bio-Island: Shuimo Park, Diecui Park and Lansheng Park

Shuimo Park, Diecui Park and Lansheng Park are three major scenic spots of the Bio Island. Their layout fully reflects the beauty of Lingnan garden. Every flower, tree, pavilion and corridor are meticulous work. The whole park area is a long strip, decorated by green space, lakes, pavilions, terraces and towers. When you climb up the three-story pavilion behind the post house, and look down from the wooden windowpane, the Shuimo Park is under your eyes like a classical ink painting scroll. You can leisurely sit or walk around. Or if you can, cycle along the greenway beside the park and enjoy the picturesque scenery on both sides.

Memorial Hall of the former site of Huangpu Military Academy

The memorial hall of the former site of Huangpu Military Academy is the only organization in China dedicated to protecting the historical and cultural buildings of Huangpu Military Academy and displaying its development history. Since its establishment in 1984, the Memorial Hall has been committed to the collection, protection, exhibition, publicity, education and research of revolutionary sites and cultural relics. It has been included in the list of the national red tourism classic scenic spots and been awarded the national patriotism education demonstration base, national defense education demonstration base, cross-strait exchange base, patriotic education base of the All-China Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese, patriotism education base of Guangdong Province and Guangzhou, one of the top ten name cards of Lingnan culture, etc.

Presently, there are more than 20 historical sites of Huangpu Military Academy here, which are important carrier of patriotism education and national defense education. Main sites include: the main campus rebuilt in 1996, Sun Yat-Sen memorial room, Zhongshan Park, Sun Yat-Sen Monument, the club, the swimming pool, BaiHeGang Fort, DaPoDi Fort, cemetery of the martyrs of the eastern expedition, Jiaosi Pavilion, Jishen Park, Northern Expedition Monument, etc.

Yingzhou Eco Park

Yingzhou Eco Park is in the waterfront fruit-bearing forest south of Xinjiao Town (east of Nanzhou Lu), Haizhu District. With a total area of 142 hectares, it is a rare pastoral resort in the city, known as "the Lung of South Guangzhou". With its unique ecological environment and fruit-bearing forest, Yingzhou Eco Park will become a multi-functional and high-quality ecological park with clearer water, greener trees, more fragrant flowers and sweeter fruits, integrating production, environmental protection, research, investigation, education, sightseeing, leisure and recreation.
